Ballito Art Gallery

This contemporary gallery is situated in the booming coastal town of Ballito on the North Coast of Kwazulu Natal.The gallery hosts a permanent exhibition of the artworks of Mr Nelson Mandela and numerous other top South African artists .Ballito Art Gallery has developed a strong following of loyal supporters, helping to supply original artworks to the numerous interior decorators and clients building on this stunning coast line.

We also pride ourselves in stocking international gallery standard Persian carpets. These are stunning pieces of a quality not typically seen on the South African market.

Tribal Expressions Gallery

This stunning new complex creates the perfect setting for this unique African contemporary art gallery. A permanent exhibition of artwork by Mr Nelson Mandela and other talented South African artists is on view in a Zulu hut made from thatch. Combinations of sandstone flooring, inlays of African woods, aluminum, granite, kudu leather and 100’s of globes suspended from the thatch ceiling make this gallery a must see for any art lover.

This gallery has a strong empowerment focus being 100% woman owned and run. Further to this, the talented artists Anthony Mutheki and Elga Rabe both benefit from profit shares in The Touch of Mandela Art Gallery. The powerful works of Mutheki and Rabe are at home in this African gallery and art lovers can be tempted by wonderful works in various styles and mediums including contemporary and traditional paintings and wonderful ceramics and bronzes by some of South Africa’s top artists.
